AI MCQ Exam

What is an AI MCQ exam generator?
An AI MCQ exam generator builds a full, exam-length set of multiple-choice questions from your own study material so you can sit a practice exam before the real one. StudyPolar's AI MCQ exam generator takes the PDF, Word document, slide deck, photo or recording you upload and writes an exam of up to 40 multiple-choice questions on Polar Pro (five on the free plan), at the difficulty and in the language you pick, covering the material from several angles rather than repeating one fact. You take the whole set in one sitting, get every answer graded instantly, and finish with the list of questions you missed. An explain-my-mistake tutor breaks down each wrong answer using your notes, and the questions you got wrong come back through spaced-repetition review until you answer each one correctly three times. There is no clock: the point is exam-length practice, not exam-day pressure. Available on iOS, Android and the web.
Loved by students…
You studied it yesterday.Today it's gone.
Your brain forgets most of what you read within a few days. That's why hours of studying turn into blanks on exam day. StudyPolar turns your notes into practice questions and repeats the ones you forget until they stick.

Upload any study material and StudyPolar turns it into exam-style practice questions that hit every idea from a different angle. It learns where you slip, then brings those questions back with daily spaced repetition, a few minutes at a time. Miss one? It keeps coming back through the four cards below until you've got it cold.

From all-nighters to A+
Same students. Same classes. Different mornings.
I failed pharmacology once. Same slides, but this time I did my StudyPolar cards every morning. Passed with room to spare.

Two of the practice questions showed up on my physics final. Almost word for word. I just sat there like, no way.

It kept bringing back the one case I always mixed up until I couldn't get it wrong anymore. That's the whole trick.

I've tried every study app with a free trial. This is the only one that figured out what I don't know before I did.

I used to reread slides for hours and remember none of it. Now it's 20 minutes a day and things actually stick.

It hit the same concept from four different angles. Angle number four was on the real test. Wild.

First A+ I've ever gotten on a finance exam. Everyone thinks I studied all week. It was the penguin.

The questions get hard. Like, harder than my professor's. Walked into the midterm and it felt easy.

I do my cards on the bus and I'm weirdly into it. Never thought studying would be the fun part of my day.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before you upload your first file.
How long is an AI MCQ exam on StudyPolar?
Up to 40 multiple-choice questions per exam on Polar Pro and five on the free Little penguin plan; you choose the number when you generate it. There is no timer: you take the whole set in one sitting at your own pace, see every answer graded instantly, and finish with the list of questions you missed.
Is the practice exam like the real exam?
The questions are written from your own course material, in multiple-choice format, at the difficulty you set, so a hard exam generated from your lecture slides covers the same ground the real one will. It is still AI-generated practice, not your professor's paper: use it to find the gaps in what you know, not as a prediction of the exact questions.
What happens after I finish the exam?
You see which questions you got right and wrong. Each wrong answer can be opened in the explain-my-mistake tutor, and every question you missed joins your spaced-repetition review, where it returns until you have answered it correctly three times. Mastered questions drop out; the ones you keep missing come back most often.
Can I generate more than one exam from the same document?
Yes. Every generation counts against your monthly quota (four on the free plan, 100 on Polar Pro), and you can add the new questions to an existing class so all the practice for one course builds up in one place.
